Commonwealth's main focus is to provide public warehousing. We provide monthly storage by the pallet space or by the actual square footage used. We can also adapt to meet customer requirements including basic pallet in/out service, pallet in/piece out, bulk square footage, or temporary overflow warehouse space. We can even serve as crossdock warehouse or a transload warehousing facility.
The main benefit of using a public warehouse is you only pay for the warehouse space you occupy. Commonwealth realizes that sometimes a company just needs a base of operations. In addition to public warehousing facilities, we also rents a small amount of office space. The advantage of subleasing space from Commonwealth lies in the proximity. On-site office space is located adjacent to our shipping and receiving dock. This allows our customers to eliminate costly freight bills by storing their product under the same roof as their offices. Many companies have leased office space from Commonwealth, stored their product in our facility, and have expanded with us as their business grew. Currently we have 9 offices available.
Secure Storage
All Commonwealth warehouses are configured with both bulk stack areas and racking systems to accommodate a wide variety of commodities. Our partners can rest assured that their products are stored in a safe environment. Safety, security and cleanliness are all key focuses at Commonwealth. Our warehouses are routinely maintenanced to ensure that roofs are leak-free, doors and dock doors are secure, video surveillance equipment is functioning correctly, and all aisles are free of debris. Commonwealth maintains regular cleaning schedules and contract with local vendors to ensure sufficient pest and rodent control measures are in place. The entire Commonwealth team urges all potential clients to visit our warehouses to witness first-hand how we live and operate.
Temporary Storage
Sometimes you only need to store goods for a short period of time. No problem. Commonwealth can take care of your temporary storage needs. Whether it's a month, a couple weeks, or just a few days we can provide you with custom pricing that fits the scope of your project. Several of our facilities feature smaller, fully enclosed partitions which are great for temporary projects or seasonal needs.
Sublease Opportunities
Having trouble finding a suitable warehouse for your current operation? Commonwealth has a large amount of square footage under lease for expansion and contraction purposes. Clients can sublease warehousing square footage (typically 5,000 SF - 100,000+ SF) from Commonwealth for a period of time to meet a short or long-term warehousing need. Subleased warehouse space allows the subtenant to operate their business within Commonwealth while still enjoying Commonwealth's services and benefits if they want.
