1985
On November 1st Brian W. Collins founds Commonwealth. The company begins its life operating out of a 25,000 SF facility in Tri-County, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, with just two employees.
1990
Commonwealth expands to 151,000 SF in three facilities around the Cincinnati area.
1991
Commonwealth moves into its present headquarters in Cincinnati, initially occupying 200,000 SF and employing 40 people.
Commonwealth is recognized by the Inc. 500 magazine as the 236th fastest growing company in the nation.
The Cincinnati Business Courier and Ernst & Young award Commonwealth the Crescendo award given to the 50 fastest growing companies in the region.
1992
Commonwealth expands to Greenville, NC, by opening a contract facility to service Procter & Gamble.
Commonwealth is again recognized by Inc. 500 as the 344th fastest growing company in the nation.
The Cincinnati Business Courier and Ernst & Young again award Commonwealth the Crescendo award given to the 50 fastest growing companies in the region.
1993
Commonwealth opens a 50,000 SF facility in Florence, Kentucky to service a major catalogue fulfillment client.
Growth continues, pushing Commonwealth to over 510,000 SF in three states: OH, KY, and NC.
Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce recognizes Commonwealth with the Positioned for Success award.
1994
Commonwealth focuses on its Ohio and Kentucky warehousing and distribution business, shutting down its North Carolina facility while expanding to over 761,000 SF in three locations.
1997
Commonwealth opens a 45,000 SF contract facility in Oxnard, California, to service Procter & Gamble.
1998
Commonwealth expands its Oxnard presence by opening another contract facility to service the Pepsi-Cola Company, initially occupying 122,000 SF.
Within the first year of operation, Commonwealth quickly turns the 14th ranked Pepsi outside vendor facility into the #1 rated facility in the nation. Our facility maintained the #1 ranking until its closing in 2009.
1999
Commonwealth takes over the failing 106,000 SF Este Ave. facility for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Commonwealth earns the prestigious Pinnacle award given by Procter & Gamble to the facility which executes the best turnaround in overall performance.
Commonwealth returns to Kentucky to start-up the 200,000 Sf Qualis Automotive facility in Hebron for a four-year contract operation.
Upon request from a valued customer, Commonwealth opens a 25,000 SF facility in Marietta, Georgia.
2004
Commonwealth earns a 100% Quality Assurance Key Elements (QAKE) award from Procter & Gamble for overall excellence, one of two given out worldwide.

2005
The Second Generation begins at Commonwealth. Brent L. Collins joins the company as the Sales & Marketing manager after working for a year on Capitol Hill in the United States Senate, Washington, D.C.
2006
Commonwealth earns an unprecedented back-to-back 100% Quality Assurance Control award for overall excellence from Procter & Gamble. To date, no other 3PL company has duplicated this achievement.
2007
Steelcraft, a division of Ingersoll-Rand, selects Commonwealth and its partner, RRR Logistics, out of six regional and national suppliers for the complete outsourcing of their North American steel door and frame division.
2008
Commonwealth adds a third facility in California. The new 37,000 square foot facility on Maulhardt Avenue will be used as part of our contract operation in Oxnard.
