Commonwealth understands the needs of the chemical industry. We currently work with some of the largest chemical companies in the world to help them achieve these goals. Our chemical warehouses are equipped with proper fire suppression systems, liquid containment, and safety equipment. Our chemical warehouse staff receives both 3rd party and in-house training annually to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance. Our quality assurance program also includes a comprehensive safety manual with detailed policies and procedures specific to chemical handling. Our highly-trained staff is familiar with DOT, IATA, and 49CFR hazmat training and NFPA fire protection requirements. 

Hazardous Materials

Commonwealth operates several warehouses capable of storing hazardous materials. We can safely store and handle corrosives, oxidizers, and flammable materials including products requiring H3 “high hazard” storage environments. Our chemical warehouse staff is trained to follow 49CFR hazmat requirements to ensure proper shipping, packaging, and labeling protocols are followed. All clients storing hazardous materials are required to provide all MSDS to be kept on file. Please contact our sales department regarding any hazardous material storage needs.
